whenever a girl asks what kind of car i drive i usually tell them its a "vintage BMW" and they like the sound of it but seeing it is something else lol... then again i know a few girls who really like it, mostly after riding it and realizing its a hell of a lot of fun. i also get the "cute" name. its okay "gentlemen, puppies are cute, this is something else"

Okay I used to drive a MK4 Jetta... Now THAT is considered a girls car. Even though it was a VR6.... not an automatic 2.slow. I spanked plenty of "manly" cars. I've found a lot of girls these days call E30s ugly. *shrug*

A friend of mine with an s52 e30 raced a guy with a 5.0 foxbody and beat him pretty bad, and the guy with the Mustang yelled something at the next red light like, "I can't believe that little girly car moves like that!"

I have never run into anyone who thinks the E30 is a girl's car. Most of them call it cute but, they also really like it.

I think the 'vert is a girl's car, but then again I think all convertibles that have more than 2 seats are girl's cars. Sorry, guys.

But then again, no old car is a "girl's car". Girls, in general, do not like old cars. If a girl is seen driving an E30, chances are it's out of necessity. The Miata is another perfect example. You don't see too many chicks driving around old 90's Miatas anymore, they're all picked up by enthusiasts that want lightweight, nimble cars. I get mixed results with my MR2 from the ladies. The ones who say they like it are probably just trying to be polite ;)
