Just go to one. I think the SCCA season is over but they're generally about $50. Bring sunscreen, get there early, walk the course a few times and air down your tires every run.

It is if you go the down direction ;) first two clips are downhill, third is up.

Paige down is no joke, haha. Up is a little easier but there's a tightarse hairpin 3/4 the way up that's really hard to judge unless you really know the road. Haven't been out there in a while, I need to go...

Look up UFO autocrosses, they're a bit of a drive (down in Marina) and I don't remember how many there are left this year, but it's cheaper than $50 and super chill.
