This is true, he was in my lane, and i could've let off in the slide and ended up in the burm on the otherside of the road. I attempted to correct and maintain to the other side, to much throttle i would imagine. Doesn't help that there is not much snow up here right now or I'd just have hit a big ol' pile of it.
Purely my stupidity, and now I'm paying for it.

Btw, I do have Nitto SN2's on the car all the way around.

Not stupidity since you recognize what you did wrong.

        Just lack of experience.

This kind of macho thinking will get a lot of people in trouble. You cannot go against the laws of physics and chemistry.

I know this very well, just because you have a four wheel drive suburban, doesn't mean your 22 inch wheels with slicks will get traction. people are constantly stuck in my neighborhood.

I drove my ix with a blown transfer case through 2 feet of snow, on old, low tread, crappy all-seasons. If you take it slow, like you should in the snow, it's not that hard.

This is how I keep my E30 safe from bad winter drivers and accidently r3ving into trees.

By driving with a cover on it? That seems dangerous.

Yes, you are obeying the laws of physics. Still, snow tires are designed with special formulations to deal with snow and cold temp. Why are we bashing on snow tires? The technology is there to help us.

No, probably just out of calibration.
