    Rebuild shocks?

I need a place that will rebuild shocks. Almost like a relvaving... but keep the same valving cus it matches my spring rates well ;) I hope that makes sense... Anybody know of some places that can rebuild some shocks for me?

      What shocks?

If you're talking Koni, Truchoice motorsports out here in columbus is a good choice, Turner and Apex motorsports out of San Diego will do Bilsteins.

They are Bilsteins. Gotta get them rebuilt for the Jstock springs. They are already the revalved ones, but they have been used for 4-5 years of ONLY track time. I figured it would be a good ideer to get them rebuilt.

Thats what I heard Charlie lol. The ones I am getting have been used though. He said the car was handling a little weird and he thinks it was the shocks so I am planning on rebuilding them before putting them on. Did you get the new shocks with the updated (inverted) rears?

call up bilstein. they revalve them for something like $70. since you've got aftermarket stuff on, simply telling them what model car you have probably isn't good enough. i'd send them your spring rates and corner weights if you have them. they've revalved plenty of shocks for our cars and have a database of valvings so they should get pretty damn close

Can any Bilsteins be revalved? Is it cheaper than buying new ones?

Bilsteins can be revalved. I called Turner today and told them I needed them rebuilt. They said my best bet was to contact Bilstein directly. In case anyone else ever needs the contact info... I have it all right here.

                      Bilstein East Coast
                      877-666-7662

To get shocks rebuilt, package up the shocks and send them to the following address.
                      Bilstein
                      14102 Stowe Dr.
                      Poway, CA
                      92064 Attn: Tech Department

Include a note in the box that has your contact info and say contact before service. They can talk with you on what needs to be done and get an EXACT estimate. They quoted me $65/shock to rebuild them. It includes changing all the seals and oil inside. Also they look at the internals and make sure they are in tip top shape. I will be sending out my shocks ASAP to have them rebuilt. They are the ones that have been revalved through Turner for use with their J-stock springs.
