Why is one twice the cost of the other? M3 vs. 318 or something?

My bike used to be $280 a month with no collision until I got private at $400 a year for full coverage, now I pay that + $70 a month to government regulated insurance to get plates on the bike.

Things are different up here, in that no insurance = no license plates. When you cancel you hand them back in and get new plates when you re-insure.
Yep, we get ass raped up here.

My M3 is $700 for 6 months, stored the other 6 months.
My cabby is $1400 per year
My touring is $1700 year with buisness insurance

    All have full coverage

I'm 38 with full 45% deduction. 1 at fault accident, 22 years ago

Yes, it would be a good idea to check. What the hell is stopping you from picking up the phone and getting a quote?

both my car and the wife's car combined are $70 a month, with increased limits on liability and personal injury protection.

it is unlikely I will ever pay back in full what the insurance company covered me for in what was basically a fender bender, much less make a profit. I'm not really sure why my rates didn't skyrocket but they never did.. I guess I got a freebie.

$240 a month for full coverage on the E30 and E46. I'm almost 25 with a terrible driving record. That is cheap compared to what Rape Farm was charging me for. I have USAA and they are pretty good.

I feel for you, OP. FL and MA have the highest insurance rates in the nation. I used to live in FL so I know. I have full coverage on my E30 at the cost of $250/yr in WI (Multi-policies).
