Our insurance is government regulated here, $230 a month for my 1990 325i with a 35% discount from base rates with 3rd party liability, comprehensive, and no at fault collision. Max discount from base rate is 45%. My bike used to be $280 a month with no collision until I got private at $400 a year for full coverage, now I pay that + $70 a month to government regulated insurance to get plates on the bike.
Things are different up here, in that no insurance = no license plates. When you cancel you hand them back in and get new plates when you re-insure.1990 332i, 4 door

2018 Golf R, 6spd manual (Pending delivery)

both my car and the wife's car combined are $70 a month, with increased limits on liability and personal injury protection.
it is unlikely I will ever pay back in full what the insurance company covered me for in what was basically a fender bender, much less make a profit. I'm not really sure why my rates didn't skyrocket but they never did.. I guess I got a freebie.

$104 a month (minimum coverage) for my E30. My own policy, I'm 18 with no tickets.Originally posted by SagarisHe wasn't around because he spent 7 years in jail for assault. There was a group of guys doing a 24v swap on someones car and one of the neighbor kids came over and starting too many questions. Tempers flared, sawzalls did work, and he cut the kids leg off. The victim later joined this forum under the name "5toes".

Crap man I'm about to be 25 and I pay 117/month. That's close to minimums. That's progressive for you... I need to get with some of these other Companies. Havnt had a ticket in 6 years and the last accident wasn't my fault. (Rear-ended)DENY IGNORANCE!

Just for me:
1985 535i
1993 Range Rover
1995 M3
2003 330i
Full, good coverage on 330 and M3, just liability on 535 and Rover.
With at least one, maybe two tickets still on my record, 23y/o male, single.
I shell out $194/month, with a ton of discounts. Multi-car (insurance goes UP if I drop a car), good student (carried over from HS, still hasn't been removed), and safe vehicle with the 330. There's a couple others I noticed when I got my statement last month.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5
