A local guy built his e30 into a rally car for pikes peak. I met him before the event right after he got the car running. It has been 24v swapped with I believe an s50 cam or head work and a turbo running megasquirt. It was base tuned with autotune and lots of other work.

Tim Hardy is his name and he posted his video on youtube of his run. I was surprised to see so few views of his ppihc run once I saw it on youtube and knew you guys would want to take a look. Good editing as well.
Quite impressive actually for 4th place overall. Full course paved this year. Time attack class for the first year with a fully paved course that was postponed by the waldo canyon fire. Hence the nasty weather up top since this was a month later than usual in august.

I met him through my other buddy driving the green neon in the background. Its srt4 swapped and he ran the paek as well.

Sit back and enjoy.
Oh yeah, he was fourth in the time attack class even with that nasty weather. Rhys Millen won the class with the overall course record going sub 9:50, but obviously the conditions weren't exactly optimal for Tim at the end.
