This rational never ceases to amaze. Guy is busy so he lets customers twist in the wind.

Personally, if someone gave me any amount of money for a service, especially 1.4k, I would be damn sure to keep them updated. Even if it was just a "hey im super busy and there is going to be a long wait time". Not good business educate.
