OP: Go to traffic school if they give you the option. If not, I'd lawyer up. That's simply your way of insuring yourself that the court and the officer followed all appropriate guidelines. If they find you guilty at that point, pay up.
This is coming from a car guy who is currently putting an LS1 in an E30 M3...http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=250378
Am I perfect? Nope. Do I speed sometimes? Yup. But when I get caught I blame myself not the limit or the government. I knew the rules before I played the game...Last edited by LSM3; 12-07-2012, 12:33 AM.

Because in all your post you failed to tell us what speed you were traveling at and/or you were driving the speed limit. Not once have you said the officer was wrong cause "I WAS NOT SPEEDING". You are just coming up with "possibilities" on how the officer may have been wrong....PATHETIC. I am all for contesting a ticket if it was issued incorrectly but this is just sad. I have received many tickets and I did not want to pay for them..but I did. This is the attitude of not taking responsibility is the exact reason why we read posts of on ReV about people who get rear ended and the car takes off (Hit and Run). A person makes a mistake but instead of taking responsibility the take off/try to get out out it....I hope the OP never gets hit in his car then has the person who hit him use there wit/knowledge to avoid taking responsibility...Some people might not think its the same thing but not taking responsibility for your actions starts with small things.....

Defensive driving is your best bet. Stays off insurance and your driving record(at least the one that the public sees). When i was younger, i was speeding 90 in a 45(lol). it was an exit ramp at 6am with no one else on the road. I took defensive driving, wrote a 1500 word essay on causes of traffic fatalities and only paid court fees of $150. BAM! dismissed. But i was "an exemplary citizen" at the ripe age of 17 and they were willing to work with me.89 325i Coupe Auto Delphin Metallic - Sold

fight in court.
how did you get clocked? what instrument was used to determine your speed? question the calibration (when and who did it) request for documentations from the police officer. create reasonable doubt that equipment may or may not be accurate.
i've fought several speeding tickets here in california and i've won each time.
also you can pray that the police officer don't show up on your court hearing, coz then case dismissed.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
