Nice work on getting your hard earned money back. Too bad most all of that will find its way into Commiefornia's hands anyway.
To people who say you should've accepted the ticket and sat down like a good little citizen and paid it, fuck off.
Our speed limits are set to increase revenue, not for our safety.
They conduct speed surveys like LSM3 mentioned above and they then lower the average limit by 15% or more, when people have been safely going above the current recommended speed limit.
Everything in this state of Commiefornia is designed to increase revenue, if you can't see that you're blind.
Think about this, how many officers would give a fellow officer a ticket if he pulled him over for speeding while he was off duty? I'd doubt 1 out of 100 would write a ticket. I know this first hand.
Here we have officers working traffic when the department can't afford to run fingerprints at a home robbery, where over $15k in cash was taken. 15 cops show up to a little event that happens and just stand around chit chatting. I've seen all of this first hand.

all you can do is go in and ask for ticket to be lowered, can't really get out of a speeding ticket unless you where in flow with traffic which you wern't. And traffic school can be done online and you just search the answers off the web, not hard unless you're a noob."I wanna see da boat movie"

Your wrong. I fought mine and won. All I did was cross examine the officers statement, got him in violation of several vehicle codes, and got him on calibration. It's easy to win against em if you know the law. I've won both times I've had to go to court and gotten the cases dismissed.all you can do is go in and ask for ticket to be lowered, can't really get out of a speeding ticket unless you where in flow with traffic which you wern't. take it to court, worst thing that can happen is you have to pay it. Best thing that could happen is the cop doesnt show, the state screws up some paperwork, or like happened to me once they dropped all the traffic violations one morning because the computer system was down. hahaha94 325isComment

this is a free country, it's his right to fight it and if it works it works. what the hell kind of street has a 40mph speed limit, that, in my opinion, is exactly what's wrong with this country.God, this is EXACTLY what is WRONG with this country. People who do something wrong and do EVERYTHING besides admit to it and move on...Do you want me to tell you how I know you are guilty? Because in all your post you failed to tell us what speed you were traveling at and/or you were driving the speed limit. Not once have you said the officer was wrong cause "I WAS NOT SPEEDING". You are just coming up with "possibilities" on how the officer may have been wrong....PATHETIC. I am all for contesting a ticket if it was issued incorrectly but this is just sad. I have received many tickets and I did not want to pay for them..but I did. This is the attitude of not taking responsibility is the exact reason why we read posts of on ReV about people who get rear ended and the car takes off (Hit and Run). A person makes a mistake but instead of taking responsibility the take off/try to get out out it....I hope the OP never gets hit in his car then has the person who hit him use there wit/knowledge to avoid taking responsibility...Some people might not think its the same thing but not taking responsibility for your actions starts with small things.....Yaz from the 'burbs of Chicago
