Didn't cover the hole after my steering rack swap (airbag car). I feel a breeze in winter. Exhaust was hanging by wire because yah dont even ask that thing was a hackjob on its own... Ummmm didn't use the right brush when dyeing my carpet so I have to pull it back out to repaint it. Other then that everything is pretty safe and sound just minor things. I don't think deleting useless things like Tb coolant hoses count though.

Still haven't made a hanger for my muffler yet. Spent some time fitting a very nice Milltek 2.75inch inlet/dual outlet muffler than fit's the stock location perfectly. I just can't seem to figure out a nice way to hang it that I like, so wire it is.

I'll get around to fixing it one of these days.

Since i got my 2nd e30 and i have a steady paycheck i have been trying to avoid cutting corners at all cost. My PO certainly cut plenty, so Im trying to clean up the mess.

my 1st e30.... that was a different story.

LOL my first e30 would have won that contest.

Bypassed the heater set up off the throttle body.
Pulled the factory fan and put in an electric one that I wired to the fuse box where the seat heater slot with a 20amp fuse.

Running the m20 death gauntlet with my 6.5 year old timing belt still spinning in there. But it ONLY has 32,000 on it. Ha. Like that matters with rubber.

But its parked until new T-Belt, tensioner, cam seals, water pump, themostat, radiator, lower hose, new alt/AC belts next week. PO treated my car too well to let me blow the thing up now.

Not my work. I guess this ended up being me un-cutting a corner.

                    My thoughts exactly.

One of my exhaust hangers is a hose clamp because I needed the adjustability to get it to fit right, not sure if that's cutting a corner. Another is on a hose clamp because it's a fucking bitch to get on. I'd consider that one cutting a corner. Other than that I haven't really done anything bad. No zip ties on my car (other than where they should be on boots and such).
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Usually reusing locking nuts, but I'll throw on loctite if I do. Ziptied the reverse light cable to the shifter carrier because the oem metal clamps didn't work well. I was too lazy to grab my jack when replacing the lower oil pan gasket. Oil pan didn't seal so I had to redo it...wiring job on my smilies.

I couldn't get the CAB in the lollipops all the way so they are about a half inch forward on the controls arms, I finally decided to just buy the m3 cabs already pushed into the lollipops

I took the wiper fluid bottle off mine, and just removed the AC. Those two things are the least of my concern getting this car running. Power steering is next.

The less to break, the better. Plus I love clean engine bays that are easy to work on.

My electric fan is wired into my fuse panel so it comes on when the ignition is on. I have no aux. Fan wiring or relays from the factory.
