Why should I get new parents... They are paying for the car.

They are also in absolutely no financial situation to have another e30 in the family. My dad curses the Germans every single time we work on mine, and he dislikes their ideas. He HATES how they do all the air hoses, water hoses, and fuel hoses. He will also not work on a BMW unless I am there, and guess what, I will not be around every time my brother needs something fixed on his car. No matter how much you guys think that an e30 is the right choice, it is not, especially not for $2300.

I also do not think he deserves an e30, he is an asshole. Doesn't pull his weight, stuck up, ugly, and he smells.

I would rather stay away from hondas as much as possible, do not ask me why, but I would rather see him in a volvo.

He will look gay in any car though

I would honestly recommend anything else the members have already, mentioned: Civic or Volvo; both are pretty bulletproof. If he doesn't like the Volvo, really any old Honda would do him good in the long run? An Accord would be the most diabolical snore machine you could trap him with; believe me, I daily'd one

I've driven volvo's since I started driving, so has my brother. They are absolute TANKS, they withstand an unholy amount of abuse, require nothing more than oil changes (in the 20 some odd years we've owned our cars, only thing that's been done is fluids + rear main seal). Auto tranny still shifts smooth, seat broke last year because my fat ass leaned over trying to open a window, and people love it.

Wagons get bitches, by the way. Throw an air mattress in there and Pamela Handerson will treat him well.
