How the hell can you ask for pricing advice without saying what the car is? That's a ridiculous question without context.2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD LBZ/Allison

I did exactly this with our F250 last year. Ended up getting almost $20k off the truck! We got like $5k off for financing through ford @ 5.75%. 3 months later we dumped them and went with out local credit union for 1.42%. Dropped a year off the loan and took almost $50 off the monthly payment.I sell cars at Ford and just sold one of our demos. Depending which car company it is they should have their own financing like ford financing or toyota financing or whatever. There is typically a $1000 rebate for using them and paying a slightly higher rate. You then have to make 3-6 payments to get that rebate and then you can switch to your own financing company or just pay off the car if that is your intentions. That is of course if they have no pre payment penalty, which most car dealers have anyways. That would be my best advice. They can usually dig up another rebate or 2. Also waiting a few days more toward the end of the month can help but I wouldn't risk that.Comment

I have a feeling that , in an ironic twist, that all of slammins homoerotic comments have backfired so to speak and this new car will come with a pet shop boys CD standard along with a to-die-for multi colored scarf.
Or it's a mustang, but same thing anyway.Comment

I don't know why customers think that demo vehicles will get you thousands of dollars off. It is still a new vehicle that has not been titled. And for people that think that you are getting 5k off of dealer invoice, the dealership is still getting a profit. They use "dealer cash". Best times to buy a vehicle is at the end of the month. Quotas have to be met. Best weapons for pricing is the USAA and Truecar values. I deal with this everyday at luxury dealership, and still hold gross with customers. Price shop them with the other local dealers and make the salesperson work for you. Tell him that you will buy the car from him/her if they get that price you want. It works every time.
