I visted UTK campus and realy liked the layout of it and it looked like they had some nice equipment and labs. But I decide to go to the local comunity college where it is a lot cheaper. My uncle Grauduated UTK with a degree in Arcihtecture, and he liked the school then.

i've had the intro engineering courses at my old school before i transfered i was doing 3 -2 engineering there then i transfered for soccer so i am kinda behind a bit but i'l have a BS in physics and a liberal arts degree. Anyway the trick to not getting killed by your classes is working in groups if at all possible....find a kid that is really good at math (i mean we are all good if we are going into this but you'll know the kid) and just get it done and don't put it off. i've had a good social life, i mean you can't go out on wed and thursday night but on the weekends i've never not had the option of going out friday and sat. its not that bad but its not business thats for sure.

I'm an engineering major in my senior year, and all I have to say is definately network with fellow students and find out who the 'good' instructors are as well as work in groups. You can often get books cheap or borrow them that way not to mention get notes when you're absent or pitch in on stuff you need to buy, etc.
