    Racing dynamics intake manifold?

I was browsing Craigslist looking for a turbo manifold, when I stumbled across this gem...

I did some searching but cannot find any info on this "racing dynamics intake manifold". I figured I would withhold my judgement until some of the E30 guru's can confirm, or deny.

I went ahead and took a screen shot in case the ad disappears.

And, the manifold in question... Rare part?

No such thing, but that looks like a 323i intake manifold by the shape.

      Affirmative.

It'd be interesting to see if its been honed or anything.

I concur. That can be reproduced easily unless its actually extrude honed and ported.

the 323i manifold also has smaller runners and outlets than the 325i manifold, so I'm not sure why you would do this instead of honing and porting a 325i manifold.

No gains are to be made from porting a 325i manifold. Perhaps this is different with the 323 mani?

Not on a stock engine. High power ones can see some increases. At least from my basic research.

I was waiting for someone to point that out, I figured I would call out the manifold and leave the rest to you guys.

That car was for sale around Philly about a year ago for 2500 bucks needing some work and it didn't seem worth it at the Time, let me guess the new owner wants like 5000?

That car can be saved and looks fairly clean. Curious what he'd actually take for it.
