I'd be a little sore personally.

Charlie - he didn't PAY FOR ANYTHING. He handed me a cabbie and I handed him a silver 1990 325i. He knew that it had no title, and was willing to wait. That was November 5th - less than 2 months ago, not 3 months. I've called the PO frequently, but always get voicemail, and he hasn't called back. Dave even tried calling - no luck. I don't know what more I can do. If any of you smarter, more mature people out there have a better idea - I'm all ears.
And Heeter - I AM handling it. As best as any third party can in a situation like this. I can sit on his doorstep and wait for him, but that would border on harassment, and I don't think it'd expedite getting the title back.

Just to clear the air, Andre - I DID email him, this was the response I got just a few minutes ago.
Hi Scott...
I replied to that email a few minutes ago. I somehow went to my Deleted Items folder, I assume a spam filter in Outlook didn't like something in it. Spam filters are sort of bizarre. I sent a few lodging confirmations to someone in Atlanta, he kept saying he didn't receive them. Finally, he was able to watch as the email I sent showed up and was immediately deleted. There was nothing in those emails other than directions and a few GOOD links.
All I really need is the head and the valve cover, both in good shape. The one from Andre came trashed... bent studs, bent camshaft, cracked & broken inlets and more. In the other email, I mentioned I'm looking too for a near perfect rear blue fabric seat set, with the armrest. The one in my car is slightly frayed in a few places. If you have something like that, we can possibly work something out later...
Anyway, yes, I got your email and I appreciate you getting back to me. Next week is just fine. I'm not in that much of a hurry... I just want to positively know that it's going to be on its way.
Andre will get a nice feedback.

Internet personalities are a whole lot different that anyone's actual personality; I'm not an asshole in real life, I don't cuss people out for having an ugly car, and I don't get into huge arguments about something as random as two people being angry at one person--all three of who I don't know at all.
This whole forum is just a place of freedom where anyone can express whatever the fuck they want without any truely harmful reparations.
And get over your angle of me being some rich snob asshole that kicks back and soaks in any luxury he is given. I'm here because of my parents, and you are where you are in life because of your parents. I'm not entirely as worthless as you think I am, I don't Jew my parents out of every dollar I possibly can--in fact, I reject money any chance I get. Why? Because I have no use for it, I'd rather have them put it to something useful, like being able to pay for the luxuries they have, that they deserve, that they have worked hard to get. I was going to sell my e30 for this fuckass e34 I have now--but no, my parents FORCED me to accept their offer of paying for the car, and when I sell it, all the money is going straight back to them. I had a '66 Mustang once, I increased the value of it by $11,000 with about $3,000 in parts. When it sold for $16,500 about two months ago, do you know what I did with all that money? I gave it to my parents because I knew I would blow it all on my pitiful e30 and beer. My parents put that money into a small company to be initial investors, and that money is going to turn into a decent amount to contribute to their retirement fund. So fuck you Charlie, you 1337 fucking prick.
Peace.
Sorry for the thread jack, wasn't intended.

my issue has been cleared up, my only frustration was the other party running out of patience (due to the aforementioned spam folder incident). obviously we can see my perception of it was Scott saying I emailed him and the guy saying "no i was never e-mailed, and you have until tomorrow or I'm going to have to do something, it's been too long." which was rectified.Originally posted by bluntcan you get me a deal on cases of their (fiji) bottled water? i wash my 02 in that shit

Scott is a great guy. I have met him. Only once, but that one time he was very nice. We joked around, called eachother fags, stuff like that lol. I got something from him before (dont remember what actually...). It took a while, but I got it. He is busy making a living. I understand Dave and his situation as well. I was there when the transaction was made. Both Dave and Scott are great guys and the situation will be made right. On a lighter note... play nice kiddies!

Shazam!
Look, I have known Scott to be a stand up guy. Had I not, I never would have done the deal with him.
Just to set things straight, I was planning on selling/parting out the cabrio. Scott had told me many times before of his liking it, so I told him I'd offer it to him first before offering it to the world.
First we had a cash type deal, then the 325i came into the picture. The deal got a little complicated, but I felt comfortable with it. HAD IT BEEN SOMEONE ELSE WHO I KNEW LESS ABOUT, I WOULD HAVE NOT ENTERED INTO THE AGREEMENT.
I'm not here to bash Scott, but truth be told, my patience was getting a little thin, and then Andre's thread got me concerned. I have seen good people make mistakes before. What I saw here looked a little concerning, and I posted here because I wanted to make sure I got some attention.
Apparently it worked.
Scott, I put on one of my posts that I will gladly edit/delete all of this once we are in the clear.
I should have insisted that you have the title in hand before we did anything. That was my mistake. You told me over an over it should take about 21 days to get that title, and I think it was applied for before November 5.
I saw the lengths you went to to fix the blown engine in that other car you sold, so I still have confidence you'll make this right.
And as for you Jeremy, you are a doucehbag. Dont talk shit when you have no idea what you are saying.
Now all of us (except Jeremy) lets hold hands and sing Kumbaya.Current Cars2014 M235i2009 R56 Cooper S1998 M31997 M3
