I still say Bosch. Went to pep boys last night after I killed my battery because my car wouldn't start. They gave me a brand new upgraded battery with no receipt needed.

I now have 850cca and its awesome. I haven't bought a new battery since like 2002.

I went through 5 batteries in one year on my truck awhile back. The first 3 batteries went dead while trying to get multiple charging problems fixed. Then the other two were because I left the light inside the car on overnight. Walmart took everyone of them back, no questions asked.
They gave you a new battery because you left your dome light on? It was new or they just recharged it for you?

Just came back from NAPA, they need receipt :( but when I ask how much if I exchange the old battery and get new one...he quote me $234  and he claim that my BIC 48 is not the right one for my car...interesting

Can anyone confirm what size of battery can fit in my E30 325iC? Convertible have the battery in front so does it take the same size battery that regular E30 325i take?

What I heard so far is BIC 48, 49 and 91?

go to advance use the online selector for a battery and use the coupon for 50 off 125.

Get a GEL CELL and not worry about this shit.

Do you think it will fit under the hood of my 325iC?

Get a group 48, they're common enough and I'm not sure the 49 would fit in the tray on a 'vert. I know for sure that the 48 will (and you do to since that's what came out of it).

                    ;)

Yes, went to Pepboys and they have both the 48 and 49 (3 inches longer but more reserve power) for the same price, but I went home and make some measurement to the battery tray and don't think the 49 will fit. I will probably go there and get a 48 tomorrow...price us decent for a Bosch one for $108 core exchange...
