    come on, someone do the m30 swap i plan on doing it when i get enough money and the cars. already might have a 535is to use. that site i posted tells you everthing you need to know about doing the swap, costs and all.

      S38 is perfectly streetable, otherwise BMW wouldn't have put them in the M6, E28 M5, and E34 M5, and they turned them over 7000 stock. Adding a set of mild cams, it would be no problem for daily use.

            hah, good one... but I doubt an S38 with schricks in an E28 would be faster than m M3 witha 2.5L, schricks and an MAF... just the power to weight ratio of the M3 would be better...

            My main reason for NOT doing this is that I don't want to spend a bunch of money on my daily driver. This rebuild will be cheap, as I got a cheap motor and I get parts at cost, with free labor (my time) on the engine rebuild/install. 8)
