does r3v want to gelp me register my car?

thought i would throw the idea out there.
so as many of you know, i work at a collision shop.

i have done everything in my power to provide e30 guys with the best work for the least amount of money possible.
i am the sales manager but when a e30 comes in i go and help tear it down so you get more for your money.
i think i have paid my dues to this community and was curious to know if r3v as a whole could pitch in and help me cover registration cost for my car.

i got the car out of state and it was the biggest POS i had seen in my life.
after 300+ hours the car is finally in a presentable condition but i have no money to register it so if the community would like to help out with anyting i would appreciate it.

            3 things:

            1. Why not charge a little more for your paint specials?
            2. How much is your registration? I think I pay sub $75 each year.
            3. Why r3v responsibility to pay your registration? My pops always taught me to take care of myself first then everyone else second. Not a selfish thought, just a responsible one.

Sounds like its time to move out CA, vote with your FEET. I can register anything over 10 years old FOR LIFE for 145 bucks after the county Fees I think. Or if its more than 7 years old 36 bucks a year........................

                        1. Paint special is part of your income, is it not? Your income pays for your registration, therefore it has something to do with your car.
                        2. Registration is probably crazy high because the PO didn't pay the registration for a couple years and there are tons of fees. You should have checked that before you bought it.
                        3. It's irresponsible. And I never said helping others is irresponsible, I said not making sure you yourself are taken care of is irresponsible.

                        Agree to disagree.

Unfortunately Florida wants around 400$ per car if its never been registered there. Thankfully you don't pay any taxes or fees other than renewal after that though.
