You have to hit him lower, just to the point where he starts to bounce and then slide. If he comes down and sticks in the snow that means you hit him too high.

To everyone:
It is looking like 593.5 is the farthest it can go, with all these people trying you would think someone would be able to break that mark if it was possible. You never know though. Keep trying! :D
