off this topic when i was looking at my big brake kit which already has the lines attached there is this white stuff between the two metal connectors. What is that stuff and do i need to use it on all the lines. It looks like some kind of sealant or something.

Thats a nice DIY write-up, but I think I'd rather shell out the $30-40 then piecing one together

I just got one to bleed the brakes on the e30 this weekend and I ended up just doing it the old fashioned way. With the power bleeder the fluid was running out of the bleed screw at a snails pace.
The odd thing is the same bleeder worked perfectly on my brother's e36 but did not work on the M roadster either.

                Any ideas?

I loves the Motive/BMP/BavAuto bleeder. I got one new for 32 shipped from fleaBay. Worth every dime.

i got a metal cap with an airline fitting on it, works great, set the air comp. press to 25 psi. and get to it.

Yep I did everything the directions said and the same thing I did on the e36. The fluid came out very slowly out of the bleeders and then not at all. Like I said I did it the old way and it worked great.
