Finally found where it needs to be connected to! It was capped off too (with a much thicker rubber cap), and the realoem diagrams weren't helping too much on that front so I had no idea lol. Now I just need to find a hose for it :x Thank you guys so much for putting up with my daft ignorance!

I didn't watch the video but I'm 99% sure I know what the OP is talking about. That coolant passage has nothing to do with cooling the head or block. OP, order the hose from blunt tech that comes out of the plastic tube below where that hole is in the head. It's fatter on one end and thinner on the other. Connect that to the hole you're leaking from and the fatter end to the plastic pipe.
I'm in class so I'm not 100% sure that's what you need, but that's what I believe it should be. You'll need to cut the hose slightly because of how it curves or it'll be under too much stress and tear. Simon has something on this in his mess under the intake thread in the m42 section.
