I find it very unlikely that you or anyone else here is capable of repairing an A/C system on their own. that's like saying you DIY your own tire installation..

I have installed my own tires.

I wish I had weather to be complaining about a/c.

Good news is it still works (I was concerned the expansion valve would be constricted overnight) Bad news is they (in order of severity) scratched the newly painted fender, dented and almost put a hole in the back seat's leather (wtf were they doing in the back seat?) broke the latch for the glovebox and put it back in so poorly it is a nightmare to close and did not put the rubber ring that goes around the ignition.

They will be hearing from me on Monday.

I would be ready for murder at that point. When my 98 323iC was in the body shop once, they accidently put a nick about the size of the eraser on a pencil in my drivers side door panel. They said "We know a great ulpholustery guy"..... Well, needless to say, they figured out the hard way that those door panels cost more than $500 new LOL. Problem sloved.

They will be paying. Problem is I am going to the beach for a week in the morning but I changed my plans so I can go to shoe the owner of the dealer chain that is a good friend of my Brother in Law and I am sure thay will handle it.
