Yeah, Has some interesting parts but damn that wheel is still the most gawd ugly oem just recovered in leather.

I have the same tank in the basement and an alpina tank plus a few oem's. H26 is a fun car but thinking seller is not gonna let it go cheap. You said it yourself he's a collector so he's not stupid.

Is that antenna a CB unit? What's that unit hanging in the trunk on the right?

This site might be helpful too: http://www.rtsauto.com/different-bmw...tge-schnitzer/

It has info about all the tuner specials from ACS, Alpina, Hartge, etc.

WOW, that looks terrible! Looks like someone had more money than sense back then.
I would bet it is a real Hartge that someone TUNED.

Too bad they took off some nice Hartge parts for some Not So cool parts, with some black leather in there, real Hartge wheels, and those Zender skirts gone, that car would be worth a fortune.

BTW Greg, those clocks were factory in the early euro cars.

Oh I know that but you could spec a nicer part they were optional. If you pony'd the money for the adjustable lights how many extra DM was it for a 6 button or an analog.

So is the consensus that it is a real Hartge H26 then someone customized the interior? Put the BBS wheels and zender skirts on?

7k? 4k?! Have you guys been following the e30 market lately? This isn't 1999 anymore with a bloated lazy market flooded with 10-15 year old e30s.

Despite the non Hartge modifications this is still probably a $10k car.

I personally think its fat as can be. Good luck with your search OP

Same story with old 70's and 80's Firebirds/TA's/Camaros, It's absurd the prices the nice ones are going for these days!
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!
