I would almost guarantee that the high idle is because of that old shitty throttle linkage... U can see its broken in the video as he rips sideways on the cable lol>

As I suspected this carbed motor gets terrible mileage for a 70 horsepower slug. Seems like low 20's so far. Half a tank went fast.

Motor shopping now. Hopefully swap it in a month or two if I can find the parts.
