I called I Need A Rad but the PF condensers for the e30 are discontinued. Anybody else with a good source? I have a call in to American Condensers in Cali, but I think they were the source for everybody else. I don't really want to drop $300 on a custom one.

Got leave for the 4th of July & deleted that bitch while I was home. I didn't have time to sell the parts before coming back so a fully functional AC system was thrown away. Oh well. Windows down for me.

I'm waiting on some parts on backorder but I absolutely can't wait to get my system updated to r134a and finally functional.

Has anyone heard of/used hot shot? My uncle has a cylinder of it and I've been thinking I want to see what's up with my ac.

Not sure, I have done zero research on it. He said he used it in his mustang and the ac in that blows ice cubes. He does HVAC/refrigeration for a living so it can't be all bad. I am going to try it regardless, was just looking for firsthand e30 experience.

AC? You mean 60lbs of weigh reduction.

In Texas, I'll take cold air over weight on my daily commute! :D

Mine went to the indy for a new expansion valve, o-rings and dryer (converting to 134a) I'm hoping it's cold enough until I can find a PF condenser.
