    Holy Porsche!

    959 with < 500 miles

    GT1 "street version" < 2000 miles

    both on the bay

    wonder if theyll sell?

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

Holy Porsches indeed. One of my friends just told me the other day that in the town he's from, there's a guy that owns a 911 GT1 street car, and about 8 other Porsches.

Kinda OT, but I was at Carerra Motors today (local BMW/Audi/VW/Porsche dealership), and they were unloading 4 brand new Caymans out of the covered truck. Boner-inducing.

I love Porsche's. Been focusing on the ones I can afford. Unfortunately
you can't get much in the under 5k range---

I know...problem is a 924/944 costs a *lot* to maintain - repairs can easily exceed the value of the car, and Porshe "purists" don't go for it, hence the
                bad resale value. For under 5k, if I can't get a steal on a 911/912 somehow/
someway, I'd rather stick with an E30 and mod the crap out of it.

here in germany, I saw at the local porshe dealer a few months back, they were unloading a brand new SUV, and it really cane in a BOX. kinda cool i guess. make the rich bastards feel all cool like its some rugged off road thing-which it is.
My wifes boss- a german dentist- is the president of the southern germany porsche club, and in his parking garage on the weekends are some of the most incredible set-up weekend race cars. not unnormal to see a few million in porsche cars in there on the weekends. next time i go there i will snap some pics. I hate em all- the brakes on alot of those cars is worth more than my M3!!! F**KERS!

                      What he said^^^

Those are true momentum cars on a track since the 4-bangers lack in the low end. Only exception to that is the 944 Turbo (read: rocket). The sad part is that although the older front engined H2O cooled p-cars can be acquired for a very reasonable sum, parts and whatever maintenance you can't do yourself is going to kill you in the wallet.

912's on Pelican you can find a tight one for 7k. Just as fast as a 91 318i trust me we raced, well almost as fast, but close.
