Thats not the wheel Pasha, its all black.
The seller said its a grippy rubberish material (at least the top layer) so its not just hard plastic. Its not leather though, thats for sure.Comment

I'd want to know more but it looks like they might be safe.Comment

Beware of some of the bargain Momo goods on eBay. I recieved a shift knob once in very convincing packaging, only to open it up and find it to be completely shoddy in every way. My brother put it on his car for the hell of it, and the color wore off the leather within a week.
It's now filtering through layers of trash at the dump.Comment

Beware, MOMO actually does a fair job sorting through EBAY listings. I am a dealer and actually have never seen the pricing for the Marine items, but if i recall they would not legally have to make it strong enough to survive a crash.
BTW the MOMO hub is as important since it is designed to withstand an impact.

BTW there are nice leather and non leather wheels out there for 99.00, I havea few that i have sold for this price from OMP.Comment

It looks great, until you get to areas of the leather parts where your hands sit the most. It's the same story with my leather shift knob. I've got one of those B&M leather ones that looks just like the small leather MOMO. I've had it for like 8 months, and the leather on it is already getting worn, and really dirty. I've cleaned/conditioned it with a couple different things, and it just never comes fully clean or looks as good as it did. It's part of the reason I got rid of my leather sport seats. Pretty much the only leather parts I'm keeping in my car are the shift and ebrake boots, they don't take much abuse.

Seriously look at the OMP wheels, there are some sweet wheels and you do not pay the MOMO price. OMP is also huge in Europe but only has a small following in the US.

Tyler, I was looking on your web site for OMP wheels today... and the only 350mm wheel you sell is about $100 more than a comparable Momo wheel. The $99 one you have is 300mm... that's like a go kart steering wheel. I like OMP but I think $200+ is too much for a wheel like that.Comment
