I've picked up a 90 XI with some cosmetic damage.
This is my first BMW build, I've done about 20 other German cars before this one.
I should have it on the road by next week, replacing a fuel line and sorting out the brakes. But I'm developing ideas about what I'm going to do with the front end.
The drivers corner was crunched, under the bumper and the front of the fender.
I was looking at spoilers and OE looks etc and they all seem kinda dated. Definitely not the timeless looks of some other models.
Has anyone seen an E21 early front valence on an E30?
I really like the idea of it being rounded under with a duckbill.
Can it be done? If I took the valence off, is the core support right against the valence?? I haven't looked yet.
