Not thread shitting, but those are sport seats made by BMW. Very good seats though, and miles better than comfort seats. They are designed by recaro.

As long as they are in good shape, and you like the color, then a clean set of seats is always a good score.

thanks halland I agree, it just had the stock front clip but I was missing mine so im happy and that will do for now because I just put a 2" drop on the car with performance suspension upgrade, I need to get use to how low the car rides.

Sport seats are great - I would just prefer they weren't reupholstered like that.
The other stuff sounds way more exciting to me. Lots of good finds. Often difficult to find the little things in good condition.

I dunno about those seats, not my cup'o. Definitely wouldn't have paid $500 for them.

I do like the two-tone aspect of them though, been thinking about making a set similar.

he paid 500 for seats bumpers and valance.
seams like a deal to me.
if you like this color combo
it will freshen up the dull interior a bit.
personaly i am not a big fan and would have probably dyed the centers

Over paid. Last year I found a set of decent sport seat for $50 at the junk. Late Bumper I can get them for 100 with valance. Next time hide those sucker and wait for the 50% off day.
Bought parts from me before? leave your feedback here

Junkyard paid $150 for the car. They got a deal selling you 5% of the car for $500!

Post pics of the bumper swap

No kidding. Good for you for getting a deal you're happy with, but personally I probably wouldn't have pulled the trigger on it. I would have offered $350 if the valence and stuff were mint.

But hey, as long as YOU are happy, that's all that counts. I overpaid for my last car, spent $5500 when I should have spent $4000, but I'M happy.

Snap some pictures when you get it all installed!

the lkq here sells seats for 25.00 each. 3 seats, and 4 door panels can be had for about 175.00. as you allude, it is pretty tough to find a complete nice interior in a junk yard.

I predict a short time spent here unless his skin thickens.

OP: As others have said though, as long as you feel you've gotten a good deal it's OK. Everyone overpays for something sometime. If you need a lot of parts, buying a parts car is the way to go. Just stripping the easy stuff will cover the cost of the vehicle, plus then you've got damn near everything you could possibly need for your vehicle.
