Nando I agree, finding the best of both world is the difficult part... quick spool (@1800 rpm max by 3600) with horsepower goal at 8000 redline.

ZZB, I was looking at their EFR config.they can be ordered with external WG/BOV... Their Gamma Titanium seems lighter than the standard Inconel so I'm wondering if their faster especially with their twin-scroll a/r design.

Not sure which model it is - but one of the new Borg Warners is perfect for higher HP Nissan SR20s

I emailed Full Race with my specs today so hopefully they can explain the advantages and send me some maps.

Everybody knows and uses Garrett, but I'm not being complacent and just following the crowd, although the GTX and HTA options are on the top of my short list. I want to know my combo will yield the 1800-2400rpm ~7 - 9psi ramp up to full boost by 3600-4400 all the way to 8k. Just doing my due diligence.

This^ The Hx35 is a really good turbo that makes great power as does the x40.

I spoke with the tech dept. @Full Race retailer for Borg Warner and given my 2.4L specs. Shooting for 400ft./lbs. (@500whp) and they prescribe their EFR 7670 w/ T3 .83 which flows 65 lbs./min. At 15psi 407whp/340tq; 24psi over 520whp/400tq on 91octane! Positive pressure kicking in at 2100rpm. Not bad, outflows the HTA-3076R (59 ft./lbs.) 10 ft./lbs. shy of the HTA-3582R but spool/drivability is my concern.

I just got off the phone with Turbonetics and they sent me this page: to customize with the options I want:
