I just install a new cluster and all gauges are working expect that the Tachometer is like 3500+ RPM at 70mph and 4100+ RPM at 80mph...what is my problem? It is a 7000 RPM Tach and it's from a 325i (fit my car)...

Yup, keep the original coding plug associated with you motor/ecm. I have some spares around if you need one, from many different E30's. PM me thoOwner - Bavarian Restoration
