Hmm... Interesting idea, would it be good for the fluid inside the engine, gas tank, etc though?

Doesnt look like the rear wheels are on the ground for much support. Looks great for doing exhaust work, brake and fuel lines, or just giving your car a good belly rub!

        Any idea of cost?

i dont think it would be bad for fluids. Every system is sealed and engine oil just gravitates back to the pan. cool idea

Well, most used 4x4's articulate at those angles running and seem to not have problems.

interesting. still don't know if i'd trust it enough to get under that.

Eh diff fluid coming out the vent, same for tranny, possible engine oil leaking out of a breather.

+1 to that. The one posted looks overly cheap anyhow.

I doubt there would be any problems with fluids. Think about racing, with tires capable of 1G lateral accel or more, which would also cause a 45ยบ push to the fluids.

Looks sketch but a proper shake test and some alcohol could cool the nerves a bit. If every r3ver had one of these perhaps our collective e30 quality/value would rise by a bit eh?

How about battery acid leaking out of the battery?

                        No thanks.

That is one interesting design, however, you cannot efficiently work on both front and back at the same time. Not too big of a deal, but i can imagine cranking that thing once is gonna be tiresome. I'll wait to see some real reviews on it.

Removing or installing a tranny - you'd be fighting gravity in two directions.
