Yeah Italians think of cars as bumper cars, I wouldn't leave that E30 parked anywhere without keeping a close look.
    It's gorgeous tho

Looks nice, too bad it's a bit too far away from me(450km). I only wonder why would one go through the trouble of an M5x swap, for another 0hp. But nonetheless a good price if it's as nice as it looks.

^because those motors are worthless and VERY cheap. I daily a 523i (same motor) I guarantee that that motor is not at all faster than a 2.5 M20- but it will get better fuel economy. Looks like a nice car, esp. if you can talk him down to 3500! E30s aren't getting any cheaper over here.

If you are serious about doing a V8 swap then I would recommend you buy a car with a stock engine and wiring that hasn't been tampered with.

x2 as well...find a clean shell, but as has been said, it won't be cheap.

If you can weld, buy my friend's Touring:

The car is well sorted, has been serviced at BMW its whole lifetime (!) until about 8k miles ago, replacement parts in the last 7 years run over $10000. It's got a replacement engine with less than 60k miles confirmed. Rust issues (typical for Germany), but nothing outside the usual except for a spot on the roof. Crackfree dash, great interior. White Edition 15" BBS wheels for an additional €500.

Wow 1000 euro would be nice but I'm not looking for an auto.

as for the getting the stock one b/c of my V8 plans. I thought of that too. But from all the reading i've done the wiring is gonna be a bitch no matter what i do. I'll make sure the car gets checked for rust and will def be trying to talk them down some.

it's gone as of tonight, too. Took 1100 for it, including the limited BBS White Edition and the LSD... I wish I would have taken them off his hands, but money's tight as a student.

Ah. Well I've started the process to get the car here. I have to jump through some hoops to get it to Sicily so it wont be here for like three weeks.

Was wondering if you purchased it. Did you get someone to inspect it?

hahahaha. I'll be honest I can't wait to get her back to the states and show up at what ever BMW meets are in my area and see what kind of reaction i get. Haha

I really really wish i could afford and had the time to do an S62 swap and truly make her drool worthy!!
