My dog Izzy is ok with being in a car unattended, as long as there's a bag of Chipotle nearby :p

But seriously folks - don't leave a pet in the car. If you can't take said pet inside to where you're going, don't bring the pet on your trip!

There's a women that takes her dog to the library and leaves him in the car while she uses the library's computers. The dog bakes in the heat while she chills in the AC on the Internet. A library employee yelled at her and people have complained to her but nothing seemed to do the trick untill somebody tossed dog poop everywhere all over inside her car. She called the police and told them she leaves the dog in there often but that she will now be coming out every 20 mins to check on it. Really people if you see a dog in a car don't throw poop like a primate, adopt that dog on the spot, the dog will love you for it
