    Miata?

So here's the deal. The baby is coming and I want to get my wife out of her sunfire.

I just got my e34 a little while ago, and I do love it dearly. However, it would also make the perfect designated baby carrier.

Now, a friend of mine has a Miata sitting on my lot, late model 1.8l that needs a motor, which he has.

I am contemplating checking his asking price, sell the sunfire, give e34 to the Mrs. and take the Miata. Drop in the new motor, and add in MS2 and all the turbo goodies I already have for a new DD. AND pocket some cash for the savings account at the same time!

This is all just an idea here, have not run it past anyone yet so it may be dead already.

Sell sunfire, continue to drive e30 and save money. Contribute to maintenance fund for E30/34 and baby fund they are the expensive ones.

Miatas are fun as shit. Do it, turbo it, and fuck the haters while you're sliding everywhere.

So wait... you have a baby on the way, an e34, an e30, a sunfire, and you want to replace the sunfire with a smaller car than both it and the e30?
What happens when the e34 breaks down? Where does the car seat go?
Back seat of the Miata I presume?
          Yours truly,

so, you have a baby on the way, and you want to sell your wife's functioning car for a 2 seater with a bad motor?

                No no no.

I no longer have an e30, just the e34 and sunfire.

The thought was that since I have to put the motor in the miata, I could easily walk away with 2 reliable cars, and have 1,500 to put into the bank.

That said, wife didn't go for it. While I may still be a kid at heart, I do consult her on major things, and listen to what she says. :whipped:

Good call. Consulting the wife is always the best bet.

My thoughts too. Kids first! When the e34 is down, then what? Keep the sunfire until the smoke settles from having a baby...priorities will change...at least they should.

I have driven my cousin's miata before and i feel like I'm driving in a barrel. The small amount of space inside makes me very uncomfortable and I'm only 5'6.
Bought parts from me before? leave your feedback here
