I hate to add this, but with everyone talking about karma getting someone.. I've been out $1k in cash and wheels that I sent Curt as part of a trade over 3 years ago. Communication was spotty for a while, but I haven't heard from him in 3 months. I tried being cool about it and basically gave up chalking it up to 'a lesson learned'. Reference this feedback thread, my issue started on page 6--- http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...tervelt&page=6
E-mail I sent yesterday (no response..):
'I saw your thread and wanted to say that I'm sorry to hear about your car. I hope that you find it and are able to get everything back-- hopefully unique parts like the bronze glass etc are pretty easy to catch when someone attempts to sell them.
I'm sure it's a bad time, but I want you to know that you are feeling the same way I've felt for 3+ years now. Like someone took my money and parts and I am now left powerless in the matter. Sure it's a different scale, but I worked hard for the money and to pay for the wheels I sent with no return in sight. I hope that you will make it right.
Sorry to bring it up at this time, but I'm just putting it out there. Sucks to be on the short end of the stick.
Good luck,
Ryan Thor'
I never wished anything bad on anyone and losing your car and all of the time and rare parts is terrible. I'm not posting to be a dick, just saying that it looks like the karma everyone is talking about may be in effect and it sucks being on the receiving end.
I still wish Curt good luck with getting his car back. I also hope that one day he will make the situation between us right.
Not really feeling much sympathy for Curt after reading this, even if it is a very different scale. I hope even with your current situation you make things right for rThor.
dayyyuuum karma. Time to go return all those taco bell sauce packets I constantly steal... I want to keep my e30

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's a smog test type of thing. IIRC think it's against CA law to *sell* a dual outlet muffler as a replacement for a car that came from the factory with a single. But don't quote me on that.

You or anyone can cross-post my comment. I won't personally because I want his attention and response. I know he has seen my post here..
I don't want to come across like I am trying to distract from his issue at hand. I don't have any ill-will towards him or anyone. I just want him to contact me and make it right (still hopeful, although I know it's unlikely) and stop ignoring my posts, messages, and e-mails, which I know he sees.
I stand up, pull my dick out, and asked my gf to give me some noggin... Well, she starts laughing at me and I freaked out and ran off and locked myself in a bedroom.
So... the way I see it is the "victim" who's car got stolen, didn't really start this thread?!?!
Am I getting it right??? if so, why not? did he know that he hasn't made it right with somebody??
