On the third hand, I am STOKED that Curt's car got stolen. In fact I couldn't be happier, dude stole a grand from someone, ignored him for 3+ years and no repercussions until now. Gotta love karma.

Thats a bit far dude. I dont think anyone deserves that. I would of found it karma if someone had raided his parts stash, but not a whole car he poured his heart into.

rThor could be making 10 dollars an hour, working through blood and sweat to save up that grand. So why care if Curt did the same into his car, and it was taken away just like he took rThor's grand.

This alleged transaction with the wheels/parts/$$$ that Curt owes or does not owe this person is more or less news to me. I recall hearing something about it at some point, but I don't recall ever being notified about it by either party or asked to intervene. To the best of my knowledge, anyway. Lord knows I've been known to miss PMs.

As for legal action, there is a ton involved with that. Being an Internet transaction with no contract makes it tough. It would cost me more out of pocket to have a crack at getting my money back. Shouldn't be such a big deal, or at least one would think..

As for the guys saying 'start another thread', well, I tried that. I continued with sparse communication and was patient. Didn't work. I thought maybe he would respond in a thread that was this important to him, guess not.

For the record, I was 21 when the transaction took place. In college and working at a euro shop after school during the week and coffee shop on the weekend.. So yeah, losing the $$ was rough.

Matt and Josh-- I apologize if any of this seems to be incorrect use of the thread and I hope that you both understand my position and reasoning. James too if he shows up..

I know I have seen multiple members on here banned for much less than $1000 in my short time here.

It isn't right that everyone wants to sweep the wheel situation under the rug when the guy even posted screenshots of his conversations.
