I got my seats from some guy in socal re covered, new shocks etc. for around $600

Most of that budget would've went in the shocks right?
If he did good work it's almost worth me throwing mine on a pallet and sending them over there!

M3 and cabrio sport seats have french seams on the bolsters and horizontal pleating in the center sections. Standard sport seats have welted seams on the bolsters and 3 lines of vertical stitching (not pleating) in the center sections. The M3 and cabrio also have rear buckets.

I was in the same boat as you with my vert interior needing some repairs. Mine is cardinal and I was having a hard time finding what I wanted. So I bought a sewing machine and I I'm in the process of developping the patterns for the rear seat right now and the front in the near future.

Once I am satisfied with the products I intend on selling good quality covers at a reasonable price. I know its a different approach but that works for me.

I've got a beige interior in my vert. Not in the greatest condition but i might be willing to sell everything except the drivers seat...or trade, if yours is black.
