Sponsors for show cars are nothing new. Not my scene but if that's how someone enjoys their car; great.

OP: I've never gone through the process but, here's what I would do.

Put together a proposal. Tell the company what you plan to do with the car that they will get promoted at. Show them that your car is worth putting their name on, let alone their money into, then let them know what you're looking to get from the deal.

I would say that if you're telling them that you need money for a rear window to be replaced, they'll seroiusly doubt that you'll make it to the major shows they want to be at. They don't want to finance your project, they dould just build their own if they wanted that. Likely they would want something already head turning and flawless to associate themselves with. You'll also be letting go of some control of your car as well. If you decided you wanted to do X to the car and your sponsor didn't want that, they kind of have you by the balls and can basically say they won't sponsor you any longer if you do that.

It seems you have put a lot of time, effort and your own money into the car, please don't take my post as any kind of criticism or disrespect, and I'd love for you to prove me wrong. Once again I've never done this so it's all just my guess as to how it works.

Well I tried. Just go ahead and email those companies and tell them what you're doing, what you have, what you want and what's in it for them and see who bites? Try Ultimate Klasse or 8380 Labs?
