1989 325 Convertible, no "i"

    1989 325 Convertible, no "i"

    Looking at an 89 vert with no "i" badging. Could this be correct? From what I gathered this means it has to be an "e" but didn't think there were "e's in 89 let alone verts? I though it may just be missing the "i" but it doesnt look like there is room for it and I see no evidence there was one.

    You're right, never made eta verts. It's an i missing its badge

      Possibly was repainted and badges not put on correctly.

      ...or a trunk deck from an eta was used if the car was rear ended.

        It could only be a 325i if it's a convertible unless the engine was swapped.

            Looks like it's just incorrect badge placement. It actually looks crooked in the pic.

              Badge was replaced. I once saw a guy who had "325" on the left side of the trunk and "is" on the right side. Needless to say, it looked fucking stupid.
