DERP... I cant believe she couldn't get out of this car...
Graciela Martinez was found dead in the backseat of her brother's BMW outside Madera South High School in Madera, California hours after he had gone inside to class.

My mom had a bmw back 1988 -worst lemon of a car ever. Needless to say no one in family has purchased one since then and never will.

Just goes to show a $10 safety hammer and a 30 second lesson on hazard prevention could have easily avoided a death.

does the horn on an E36 really not work without the key?

sounds like he double locked it. I mean, that feature has been around since -1980? I guess it was a matter of time before somebody not so bright locked somebody inside..

Like it says in the comments, it was 6:40 when she was left in the car. She likely went for a quick nap before her class and never woke up.

Wtf? I would have kicked the window and smashed it open.
I almost want someone to put me in that situation so I could do that sorta exit.

That's tragic but seriously, there is SOMETHING in just about any car that could have broken a window.

It's pretty hard to break windows tbh. I think kicking out a windshield would be easier though!
