you have 2 options with a 7 seat capacity

Suburban or like mentioned above the only ford I would consider owning the diesel Excursion

The cross overs dont get too much better fuel economy than the full size while losing lots of capability, and your gonna be hard pressed fit 7 people even if 1/2 of them are smallish in there comfortably

I won't own another ford, just not going to happen. and the excursion is just overkill in my opinion. We looked at suburban's when we bought the Exped, and my wife had a difficult time getting in and out of it and didn't care for the way it drove. We had a brand new odyssey ex-l back in 08 and I absolutely loved it. We were stupid to get rid of it, but at the time we only had the 3 kids, and my wife wanted something smaller, bought a crv and immediately wanted to slit my wrists... I am leaning back to an 08+ Odyssey ex-l res, but my wife really likes the Acadia and Enclave. The Volvo is also a contender, but I do worry about maintenance costs. Also, if I go with the volvo, v6 or v8?

btw... expedition was an 01. bought it used a few years ago and put about 50k on it. Did cop's and plugs twice, and it was starting to feel like they needed to be done again. You could do 3 or 4 m20 timing belts with time to spare in the time it takes to do the plugs and coils on that stupid POS.

we have considered getting rid of the wagon and getting a disco 2, but I wouldn't have one as a first vehicle. Other than the disco, does rover make a 7 passenger model?

Suburban not sure what year you drove we have an 05

it's either that or a minivan everything else is too cramped for 7 and have no cargo room after seating 7 that why we didn't get a Tahoe or yukon

I think the range rover that my mom had, came with a 3rd row but I'm not sure

Honda odyssey or Honda pilot, exactly the same car.

Maintenance is cheap although the v6 in them likes to eat oil up. Needs changes every 3-5k.

e30 is not going anywhere, and neither is the wagon. Expedition will be sold off cheap or donated. You'll think I'm crazy, but we have our kids by choice. only the oldest was an accident (LOL), the other 4 we adopted out of the foster care system (2 separate adoptions, 2 separate families, etc...). Trust me, I'd love to give a couple back sometimes.
Hahahahahahaha best thing I've read all day.
