Not really my point. ZHPs just have that allure to them. I guess like an M-tech II e30 would vs a normal e30 vs M3.

    I'd rather MT-2. Not a fan of S14s, and I'd feel bad swapping an e30 M3 to a 6/8 cylinder.

I just like ZHPs over M3s.

Also, not a fan of e46 coupes.

S54 is a cool engine, but for me personally I'd rather have a hopped up M54.

Also ZHP doesn't really scream douche as much as e46 M3.
E46 M3s scream douche? Interesting, where can I get one of these;)

ZHPs are 8k less than an e46 m3.

you can pick up an E46 M3 for $12-15k. people are asking $20k for ZHPs.

if you can get a ZHP for under $10k, I'd like to know where..

Not around here. M3s are in the low 20/high teens.

ZHPs can be had for 10k.

Maybe a salvage e46 m3 for 12k, no way you are touching a decent car for under 17k.

                  Prefacelift are garbage.

I just saw a red ZHP down at a dealer here sell for 12k.

I see a bazillion of them on autotrader for $12-15k. an equal number of 330ci's (most of which aren't ZHPs) for similar or higher prices.

the E46 is 2 generations old now.. just like you can get a decent E36 M3 for $6,000 these days.

I beg the differ, I picked up my e46 m3 for $16k out the door, it's a 2004 with only 60k miles on it in really good shape:D
Also my buddy just picked one up for $12k in good shape too....;);) you just have to search like with anything else

He obviously was proud of his car, I didn't shit on him for not knowing every little thing about it. Just gave him a "Right on, nice car." and took off.
There is an M aero package for standard e46, so that combined with sport pack he might just call it M sport. Not the same as something like the 540 m sport but who cares what he calls it.

I know this guy and the car is not bad, I do hate that he traded the zhp wheel though. I was thinking about buying it but always realize I could build a better car for 10k.

There is a silver on black e46 sedan ZHP FS here for $8500. Dealer maintained. I know the owner and the previous owner, who works at the dealer.

                            ~120k miles I think.

modded with 145k.. ehh. 2k more and you can get an M3 with less than 100k miles. just saying - the value for a ZHP is not really there. BMW makes so many cars now you have a ton of options.
