Better than m3?

Lets see , no m3 suspension geometry, no m3 interior, high revving v8, brakes, body work, or resale value.

335 is cool,and cheaper to get power out of, but don't get carried away and call it better than an M.

It has m suspension ,owning a e30 m3 I think i know what a good handling car is .i have sport interior nice bolsters on seats ,the steering wheel is small and paddle shifters much like m3.car shifts stock at 8k rpm .brakes stop on a dime.resale value huh yes the e36 and e46 m3 resale is shittyttttttt!
I can out run a m3 with $479.00 for a e92 m3 to beat a 335i it would need a 11k supercharger.go check out jb4 website.the m has some nice goodies on it yes know doubt.its not worth 40 k more than a 335i.
M3 are not the same they were when they did the e30.every year non ms been closing the gap on the m3's.i think the e92 m3 is awsome car just wish they would make the m versions multiple levels above non m cars and is not the case.

I know this gets asked every time someone wants to swap out their S14, but given the prices intact E30 M3s are fetching nowadays, why swap it, instead of selling it and swapping a regular E30 with the cash?
Personally, I don't get the appeal of swapped M-cars (I would swap a touring if I had the cash), but excluding the purity aspect, I'm just curious about the value part.

I get 20-22 mixed mpg in my 335is. It was a bit lower during break-in.

S14 you can get real power out of .you know a s50-s52 is 240 hp right?drop in some schrick cams,dtm cf intake Mille tune and you are there.great thing is its still a s14 sound,revs,handling .but what makes you happy great.
It can get up to 26 mpg on freeway the 335i.to the comment on early model so tell me difference between the early and 2011?same right.this is a 3.0 bmw been making 3.0 for ever.turbos on every car have a shorter life than say super charger.if had more money off course I ge newest i cold with lowest miles .i see nothing wrong with the 2008 ow and i hav not owned 1 bmw yet that does not have issues.my 1988 eta being the worst.

People buy M for bragging rights and not because of only speed but all-around it's a better car than a non-M, looks/handling/interior......all about social status

You can make any car faster than the M, but there's more downside in the long run...it does not hold up value as good, after a few years non-M's look outdated...look at e36's and regular e46's in the market they're worth so little nowadays, whether modded or not.

So if an e30 325is with a chip and a 4.10 rear is faster in a straight line than an e30 m3, that makes it better and everyone who has an m3 is an idiot.
