Owner of 6 bimmers view on 335i

Hey guys just picked up a 2008 335i twin turbo.

    I have owned 1972 2002,1997 4dr e30 m3 dinan s/c 360 or so hp,1988 super eta stroker motor,2006 x3,still have my 1988 e30 m3 you guys that know me know that car and now my 2008 335i.
For those familiar with the 335i they know but this car is awsome!
I still love my e30 m3 and the driving experiance is second to none.
    That said I would take this 335i over a e46,0r e92 m3 any day.
It has m suspension it drives like its on rails.
The motor is built buy zues himself .
Stock 300 hp and more torque than its m3 counter part.
Cheapest mods that make gains we all wish our other car can get for the value.
Jb4 has a tune module its only$ 479.00 and makes this car stock mind you with only this mod 400hp! Stage 1 adds up to 30 horsepower, Stage 2 JB Plus (JB+) adds an adjustable 30-60 horsepower to the wheels, and Stage 3 adds up to 80 horsepower and 80 torque to the wheels (100hp / 100tq crank). For those looking for even more power we offer inexpensive upgrades to push power to the max. Our development 135i and 335i are the worlds quickest running documented 0-60 times of 3.5 seconds, 1/4 mile times as fast as 11.3 with trap speeds as fast as 133 mph!thats with meth injection.
Its pretty sick ride not sure why anyone would buy a modern m3 over a 335i.
After owning this car i believe bmw still got it and they know their shit!
From stock its looks wheels dont need any mods.
Wish they made wheels lighter but I like the look.

Will you be taking this to a dealer or doing all the work yourself.

My friend had a modded 400+whp e92 335, he sold it and got a all stock e92 m3 and was much happier.

          Good luck

Has 41,000 miles on it .interesting wonder why hes happier in a slower car?unless its the fact he can say its a m ?the 335i I bought has m suspension.interested to know his opinion let him know about this post.i see supercharger or turbos in his future at big big money:)

There's a bit more to an M3 than the motor...

I think he got to the point that he didn't want to have to mess with the car anymore after breaking halfshafts and and the JB throwing check engine lights if he did a pull (this was in 2008 probably fixed this problem now). The M3 you can just buy it and enjoy it without having to mess with it.

Interesting ^got yeah I understand I know about issues with modded cars.i know they offer different stages.the check engine light issue is gone.thanks info makes me wonder on the half shaft and how much it can take?i know the 335i stock has more torque than the e92 bought so it can't be to week .

He had the wavetrac LSD which probably didn't help the axles, not sure if people break them with stock diffs.
