Just because you know how to remove them doesn't mean most people do too. Why make it easy for them? The more deterrents you can throw at thieves... the better. If it takes them 5-10min longer, they stand more risk of getting caught. Even having the center caps on are a level of protection.

Case and point: I had a 88 CRX jacked in front of my house. I found it completely intact 2 blocks away...the thieves used a "master" key but couldn't take the car because they couldn't find the two hidden kill switches so they ditched it without taking anything.

Ya I wasn't saying wheel locks make wheels impossible to remove, but most thieves wont bother if it could cost them jail time having to take extra time to get the wheel locks off.

Get in touch with Ryan at motorsport hardware. He sells nuts/studs on the tuner set, all the nuts are locks. Great stuff and amazing to deal with. Run his on my drift car, used to run the locks before it went dedicated track.

You are wayyyy off on that assumption of 5-10 min. Literally more like 1/2 second more time per wheel, they dont even need a special tool (very common tool). Anyways I guess the only thing that would stop them is if they didnt have this very common tool... see crack head specimen below:

And I wish I was as lucky as you with a kill switch. I had two, an alarm and the god damn alternator was removed from my del slow... they still took her, stripped her and dumped her across the city. I guess it was all for the better since I got into the e30 scene after that...

Half a second? c'mon now. Is there a single tool that takes off ALL variations of wheel locks??? If so, and they brought it with them...then perhaps.

Ok... realistically depending on the skill of the theif .... 3/4 of a second. Add more time if all lug nuts are wheel locks. Add a few seconds more if you use these expensive bad boys:

add a minute if you buy 4 complete sets of them, to have all beastly (not really) wheel locks.

check your inbox. I did alot of research when my car was stolen (RIP). Its surprisingly easyyyy to steal just about any older car, your best deterrent is a trunk monkey or having Thor God of Thunder on speed dial.

EDIT: PSA, if you opt to get a kill switch make them fuel kill switches. If the theif was electrically inclined he could bypass all other kill switches. Not saying fuel kill switch is 100% full proof but its alot more difficult to bypass it ... Ask my del slow how I know ...

EDIT 2: By master key I think he meant wheel lock key. Its pretty common knowledge almost all honda keys open any other honda from its era.

Assholes!! I'm just sick seeing your car on blocks like that. I hope you get them back somehow.....or at least some harm can come to the theives! Karma is a bitch. What comes around......goes around! They will get theirs somehow, some way!

                            Gorilla locks.

They are case hardened. You can always hammer a socket over them to get them off, but it takes a while. You can always freeze them with freon and shatter them, but it takes a while and is not exactly hard to notice someone doing either.
                            Protecting the world's finest wheels.

Just don't get the tuner locks because they use the same hex key for everything. The regular ones use a unique socket for the locks on each set or you can buy a complete set for your car with the same key (socket key)

You will need to have wheel studs, but most of us do that when we add wheels anyways.
