The fact that they have to point this out is hilarious. *cough * M5

Live amplification of the S55 engine's natural sounds into the passenger cabin (via stereo speakers)
No artificially generated sound or pre-recorded track being played

lost weight is a fabulous trend reversal... that inline six turbo torque must feel awesome.

they should have called the sedan the m4 since it actually has four doors, and left the m3 designation for the coupe. Makes more sense in my head?

Just from observation it seems that the new model system has odd numbers (1/3/5/7) as sedan/saloon car platforms, with their respective "GT" variants, and even numbers (2/4/6) as coupe platforms, with their respective "Gran Coupe" variants. The X1/X3/X5 appear also to be more "standard" shaped SUV/SAVs, while the X4/X6 (and X2?) are more coupe-like "SUV" models.

Wait, the m4 is the coupe and the m3 is the sedan? I thought it was the other way around?

              That makes no sense...

Yeah m4 = coupe. Makes no sense at all.

My friend has a 328 M package and he got it chipped. That thing is plenty fast it looks just as good.

Can't agree more! I can see expanding to grow the business but it's getting ridiculous with all these pseudo-utility crossover conjugations.

I wonder what the actual weight will be when fully kitted out even with the carbon ceramic brakes I imagine the car will be more like 3500-3600lbs instead of the 3300-3400lbs. Sounds like a phenomenal car while under warranty but it must be a real scare every time you push the start button outside of warranty...I just hope they don't have any serious problems like a silly old HPFP right out of the box.

Kitted out? What do you mean? What could they add to make it 200lbs heavier?

With hella plastic parts; looks like there is some plastic in the oil pan?

Two turbochargers are nice but the cost to maintain/change them to a single are ridiculous

Reminds me of my old b5 s4 biturbo; it will go like stink and cost like hell to keep going like stink

But damm....... twin turbo German cars have TORQUE

Mercedes on some Amg models fitted a electric assist spool up turbine by Garrett back in 2003
