i would go nuts without my car here. def a necessary.

you guys all get fucked for parking. my parking permit was included, and I had to pay $6 to add my kawasaki ninja. and there are like 27,000 people at my school, so it's nowhere near small

and def stay on campus 1st year, meet people

to be honest, I'd have to say a motorcycle is a hell of a lot more convenient for me on campus than anything else. (obv not in the winter) but next to all my classes is motorcycle specific parking. i ride to every class in spring/fall. def makes everything very very easy

At maximum, there are approximately 12,000 parking stalls on main campus; and approximately 55,000 people (faculty, staff, students and visitors) come to the University each weekday. Those numbers mean that there are significantly more people on campus than there are parking spaces.
= No car at college. Way too much hassle and money. A few people I know have cars, mainly so they can go up snowboarding, though.

I pay $150 a year for parking, but thats because I insist in parking in the only garage at my school There is plenty of open parking lots, and all of them are FREE. But I want my car garaged, and the best thing about it is that my dorm is on the top leave of the parking garage, so there is no walking.

I also use my car to drive home once in a while, since its only about a 2.5 hour trip.

        RISING EDGE

Let's drive fast and have fun.
