I respond to an ad on craiglist for a 1980 bmw m power motor. wtf? thats what i said. i call the guy and he says that he has one good and one core m power motor. i promptly leave work and drive to meet this guy at a failed dismantling yard that the guy is trying to clear out. in this garage are 2 dusty s14s and a getrag tranny. he said that a former employee left them there a long time ago and that they were destined for the scrap bin if i didn't take them. i tried to hide my excitement and said 'i guess i'll take them. how much?' he says $200. i couldn't get my wallet out fast enough. he helps me load them up and off i go.
doesn't everyone deserve one of those 'rare find' parts stories in their lifetime?

Story of the year, not the band but just might be and it's only February.

Can I have your next powerball #s? That luck has got to rub off. :)

            I hate you.

I never get cool stuff like that.

I found a quarter once, on the sidewalk...if that counts. I didn't pick it up though? LOL

Well, there's a grand or so easy on ebay. Nice find. Clean up the valve covers and paint them, you'll make a ton.

A single S14 head alone can be worth $1,500. I think he's got a lot more than a grand right there.

                      Nice steal.

Dammit, so what are you buying with the money you can rake in with those. Some time cleaning them and you have yourself a mint there.
                              Im now E30less.
